TransPride London 2026: A City Transformed by Pride, Power, and Community
TransPride London 2026 wasn’t just an event! it was an eruption of visibility, unity, and unapologetic trans joy that rolled through the capital like a tidal wave. This year felt different. Bigger. Louder. Braver. With estimates of 150,000+ people attending (and honestly, it felt closer to double that), the city became a living, breathing declaration that the trans community is here, thriving, and refusing to be pushed back into the shadows.
From the moment the march began, the atmosphere was electric. Walking with the Trans Radio UK and TRUK family, there was a fierce sense of togetherness, a shared understanding that after the year we’ve endured, our voices needed to rise higher than ever. And rise they did.
A River of Colour and Courage
The sun kept her promise and was already out for us. She lit up the sea of blue, pink, and white flags that stretched as far as the eye could see. Supporters lined the pavements, waving, cheering, clapping, and shouting encouragement as we passed. Every chant echoed down the streets:
“Trans Rights Are Human Rights!”
“We Are Here!”
“We Belong!”

As the march reached Trafalgar Square, the energy shifted from movement to reflection. Thousands gathered again, shoulder to shoulder, listening to speeches that were raw, honest, and deeply needed.
