Tara T has been a beloved voice on Trans Radio UK since September 2019, just before the world flipped upside down. Hosting her Reggae, Ska & 2 Tone Show every Thursday at 9PM UK time—with a repeat airing Sunday mornings at 7AM—it’s the perfect soundtrack whether you’re vibing in the UK, starting your day in Australia, or dancing into the night in the Caribbean.
Her journey to the airwaves began in true rock ‘n’ roll fashion—chatting with the fabulous Lucy and Avril in a Manchester chicken shop after a gig back in July 2018. A chance meeting, some mutual mates, and shared music passions led to a radio show that Tara now adores hosting.
Musically, Tara’s tastes are as rich and varied as her vinyl collection. Beyond reggae and ska, she’s mad about jazz, funk, R&B, the Philly sound, Motown, rare groove, glam rock, The Jam, The Undertones, punk, Northern Soul, Celtic rock—and she absolutely loves Björk.
Off-air, Tara’s a total sport nut, with a special love for football, rugby, boxing, and GAA.
