Hi there. My name’s Richenda. (She/Her/Hers)
I’ve been around music for a long time and prior to my transition was a professional musician and music producer. My bands were signed to EMI and Virgin, as well as me having had many releases on independent labels. I have recorded in studios all over the world including LA, Philadelphia, New York, Paris, London. I also produced a gold selling Album in Japan for the pop artist CJ Lewis best known for his “ragga rap” rendition the Motown classic “Sweets for my Sweets”
I departed the music industry through choice deciding to live a more “sedate and meaningful life”. I graduated as a classical homeopath in the early 2000’s and studied in acupressure, shiatsu and reflexology. I have also studied in bio resonance therapy which uses ground breaking technology to detect and redress deep functional illness. Somewhere in between all this I chaired a semi professional football club that my brother bought and was executive producer for a Sky TV series called “A Different Kind of Woman!”
My show, The Peace Lounge, is based on Prem Rawat’s work, bringing his message of personal peace to the transgender community through music and reflections.

I have always loved music for as long as I can remember, my dad was a DJ in the 60's, driving to gigs on his Triumph motorbike with a speaker strapped to his back, he also plays the accordion and piano, I played the flute, piano, recorder (of course!)
I was born and raised in Manchester, where I gained my love of The Blues by regularly attending the legendary “Band On The Wall”. I gained her love of classic soul thanks to her sister letting her have her old Stax and Motown records.
